 Halloween is the special time of year when US cities, across the country ,celebrate this season in different ways. It is a celebration in remembrance of the dead that occurs annually on the evening of October 31. You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy festivals and other parties, activities, and also admire numerous costumes and spooky situations. And also some areas hold large community events. Parties and other events may be planned on October 31 or in the weekends before and after this date.

1 . Village Halloween Parade, New York City
New York’s Village Halloween Parade is an annual holiday parade and street pageant presented on the night of every Halloween in New York City’s Greenwich Village. It is the world’s largest Halloween parade and one the major nighttime parade in the United States.It typically goes from 7–10:30pm.and runs up Sixth Ave from Spring St to 16th St in Manhattan.

2. Sleepy Hollow Halloween, New York
There’s something for everyone during Sleepy Halloween: haunted hayrides, Gothic mansions, blazing pumpkins, farmers markets, live music, street fairs, parades. Featured Sleepy Hollow Halloween Events: Sleepy Hollow Cemetery Tours, Horseman’s Hollow, Irving’s ‘Legend’ etc.

3. Festival of the Dead, Salem, Massachusetts
Salem has become a location famous for its unique Halloween celebrations. One great event to get you in the holiday spirit is the Festival of the Dead, which includes paranormal-themed activities like vampire’s masquerade ball, tarot card reading, psychic fair and a lecture on ghost hunting.

4.Halloween in New Orleans, LA
New Orleans is an ideal destination for thrill seekers and horror fans as it has plenty of spooky places to explore in the city around Halloween. New Orleans most popular attraction is the House of Shock.  Halloween in New Orleans is not just a night for the kids to go trick or treating but its celebrations includes everything , even for adults.

5.West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval, Los Angeles, CA
West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval over on October 31 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., on Santa Monica Blvd between Doheny Dr and La Cienega Blvd.It’s the largest Halloween festivity in the world as several hundred thousand people attends the Halloween Carnaval each year. The street party is free and no tickets are required because it’s open to the public.

6.Las Vegas Halloween
Halloween in Las Vegas is proper for adults with strip, clubs and casinos . There are plenty of things to do such as haunted houses, haunted tours, events and parties that take place every Halloween weekend in Las Vegas. And also, all night clubs and all hotels will be celebrating these days with costume contests.
7.  Halloweentown, St. Helens, OR
Every October, St. Helens becomes “Halloweentown.” It was the filming location for the movie of the same name, the 1998 Disney Channel Original Movie “Halloweentown”. Each year the town’s community pays tribute to the movie with a month-long celebration of spooky events and decorations so as the families be entertained and get into the Halloween’s spirit.
